Alongside Shame in Medicine: The Lost Forest, we’ve developed resources to help listeners recognize and defuse shame in themselves and their communities. Here are some ways to get involved:
Sign up to be a series Ambassador to connect with others and share efforts to change the culture of shame in medicine.
Submit a written or audio reflection on our community portal.
Share the series on social media, and institutional/organizational newsletters and listservs (see our outreach kit for sample language).
Host a shame-sensitive conversation in your community. You can use our sample facilitation slides and episode discussion guides as a jumping off point.
Receive CME/CE credit for listening to the series.
Invite the Shame in Medicine team to speak (e.g. Grand Rounds presentation, podcast/media appearance, etc).
Participate in one of our upcoming events.
